Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

This should be a pretty spectacular facility for the games.

If the rain sodden purgatory Vancouver can break even on it`s two week Winter Jock festival, then that in and of itself will be a minor accomplishment. Some reports indicate that security alone might exceed the previously budgeted forecast  by a substantial amount.I have seen the figure of 400 million dollars being mentioned and climbing.I can plainly see the taxpayers of British Columbia and Canada taking a massive s... kicking on this "athletic endeavour".Perhaps Salt Lake City and Turin Italy can edify the public on all the "benefits" that have accrued subsequent to their hosting of this event.Personally,I can well imagine that the hype preceding the event significantly exceeds any tangible benefits that result in it`s wake.

Being a Salt lake City guy myself  can tell you that the Olympics are a huge money sucking black hole on your economy. The facilities are nice but Frederick is correct it will do nothing good for the local economy.
